The CERES 10K commenced on July 26, 2008 with outstanding runs by Rasalula Nagarit and Claire-Louise Whiley to take the tape.
The August 30th city circuit saw Belinda Boyd and Howard Moore place first.
Race 3 in the series started and finished at the government administration building in celebration of "Wellness Day". Steve Asson and Kay Reddy won the respective fields.
The next race in the series was in conjunction with the STEELMAN event sponsored by DELOITTE. and OGIER. Steve Asson and Liz Killeen both on fresh legs tore up a 3 lap course.
Race 5 was held on November 15, 2008 and also provided a warm up for the BVI Half Marathon to be held on November 29, 2008. Steve Asson tore up the tarmac to take the men's race and overall series and Kay Reddy lead the females to place first overall.
