HLSCC RACE SERIES - NEXT RACE THIRD LEG - VIRGIN GORDA
NOVEMBER 1, 2008 AND TORTOLA RACE 4 NOVEMBER 8, 2008
All races begin at 7:00 a.m., with registration commencing at 6:30 a.m. Entry is free.
Races start at the College's Virgin Gorda Centre, located at the Enid Pickering
Plaza, The Valley and in at the HLSCC campus on Tortola.
Race Director Mrs. Stephanie Russ Penn, said the College is pleased to continue
its partnership with Highland Spring Mineral Water, distributed by Tico BVI, as main
sponsor for the event.
The race series will allow unlimited participation involving all age groups in both
"open" and "cross country" categories. In the "cross country" category, teams of
eight compete in different divisions, including primary and secondary schools,
service clubs and community partners.

FINAL LEG CERES JUICES 10K
The final leg of the CERES JUICES 10k will commence at the Tortola Sports Club at
7.00am on November 15, 2008.
The race will start and finish at the TSC and will run along 6.2 miles of the half
marathon course as a warm up for the BVI half marathon to be held on November
29, 2008.
There will be an awards ceremony by the sponsor CERES JUICES immediately after
the race held by courtesy of the TSC.

to Roundabout Relay series. Teams of 4 individuals race one leg each between
Bobby's and Purcell roundabouts.
The race commences at 7.00am with registration from 6.30am at The Department of
Youth & Sports Affairs. There is no entry fee however this is a fund raiser for Top
Notch Track Club and donations are appreciated.
Also commencing December 16 and December 20th the 1st Cross Country Race
series presented by Top Notch Track Club with Registration from 6.30am as above
to Roundabout Relay series. Teams of 4 individuals race one leg each between
